Delete your account

You can do this inside the app at Settings → Delete account, or here if you'd rather not open it — or can't.

This page exists because Google Play requires a deletion route that doesn't need the app installed. It's a real one.

Deleted immediately

Your profile, bio and prompt answers
Your interests, boundaries and relationship structure
Your relationships list
Your swipes and matches
Reports you filed

What happens when

Your profile stops appearing in anyone else's Discover, your matches close, and your active sessions are signed out — within seconds of you confirming.

You have 30 days to change your mind. Sign in during that window and your account comes back exactly as it was. After 30 days your personal data is erased and cannot be recovered.

Kept, and why

Moderation records where there is a safety or legal reason — 2 years. This is what stops someone who has been removed from returning by deleting and signing up again.
Financial records, where tax law requires them — 7 years.
A record that an age check was refused — 6 months.
Deleted content may persist in encrypted backups for up to 35 days before it ages out.
After a report in an escalating safety category, erasure is deferred for up to 90 days so evidence can be preserved. Your request is still honoured immediately — you are hidden at once; only the final erasure waits.

These windows are documented rather than indefinite, and they are the shortest we believe we can defend. They have not yet been through legal review. Everything not on that list is deleted.
