Safety & standards

The rules, in the words we'd use to your face

This page is for members, for anyone writing about us, and for the app store reviewers who have to decide what this product is. All three deserve the same answer.

What we allow in a photo

  • Everyday clothes, including swimwear at a beach or pool
  • Gym and sports clothing, in a gym or sports setting
  • Couples and groups, where everyone consented and is over 18
  • Tattoos, body hair, visible disability — any body at all

What we never allow

  • Nudity of any kind, covered or not
  • Lingerie or underwear shot as a lingerie photo
  • Sexual acts, simulated acts, or toys in frame
  • Anyone who could be under 18, in any context
  • Selling anything — rates, services, off-platform links

Our test is simple: if a photo would pass unremarked on a mainstream dating app, it passes here. Our members are not more explicit than anyone else's — the difference is who they date, not what they post. We're not interested in policing our own community to look respectable to someone else.

Report in one tap

From any profile, photo or message. Reporting offers you an immediate block in the same flow — you never have to choose between the two.

You can see what happened

Reports you file have a status you can check inside the app. We tell you what we decided, not just that we received it.

Pre-publication screening · withheld

Screening before publication is designed, and the database will not let a photo become visible without it. No classifier is contracted yet, so this page does not claim the outcome. Turn it on once one is live.

Response-time commitment · withheld

The 24-hour human review commitment is designed but not yet staffed, so this page doesn't claim it. Turn it on in the site config once two moderators are hired and trained — publishing it early would make this the least honest page on the site.

A note on being seen here

Plenty of people who'd like this app aren't out about how they date — to family, to colleagues, sometimes to a landlord. We take that seriously in ways that cost us marketing reach:

  • No advertising or retargeting trackers on this site, so browsing here doesn't follow you around the web.
  • Emails come from a plainly-named address with a neutral subject line.
  • We never show a member's location on a map — only an approximate area, never an address.
  • The app icon and name are ordinary on a home screen. Nothing announces itself.
